Travel RN – Med Surg

Position: Registered Nurse

Location: Reno, NV

Department: Medical-Surgical

Available Shifts: Per Diem Days & Nights

Compensation: Up to $780.00 – $960.00 per shift (base gross), which translates to $65.00 – $80.00 per hour.

Assignment Duration: 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Deliver direct patient care within your scope of practice
• Facilitate and support patient/family education and nursing staff activities
• Maintain accountability for the care of assigned patients
• Communicate patient status, diagnostic information, and changes to physicians
• Respond promptly and accurately to any changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:

1. Must possess a current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
3. Current ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained.
4. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Med-Surg hospital setting is required.
