Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of specialty experience, NJ license, ARRT (R)(MR), and BLS certification for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in an MRI department utilizing GE and PACS systems
- Day shifts with 4×10 hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Patient population includes both radiology and cardiology MRI cases
- Every 3rd weekend coverage required
- Potential to float between nearby campuses as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Scrub color required is black
- Orientation modules must be completed during the first 8 hours of orientation
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract
- Black scrubs are required attire
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Active NJ license and ARRT (R)(MR) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with GE MRI units and PACS imaging systems preferred
- PA fingerprint clearance required; new results may require in-person travel to fingerprinting location
- Must provide valid references and copies of certifications for consideration
- RTO must be discussed prior to starting compliance
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
- License required if applicable
