This role focuses on the design, integration, and development of advanced avionics systems for next-generation fighter aircraft, a critical position within a high-impact defence programme.
Ideal for a systems engineer with hands-on experience in flight avionics, radar technologies, mission computers , and a strong understanding of full lifecycle development (V-model).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of advanced avionics systems
- Define, trace, and manage system requirements using DOORS
- Support the design and validation of radar, IFF , and mission-critical systems
- Use engineering tools such as Statemate, PCMS, and ICT
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a high-security, high-performance environment
- Apply full V-model lifecycle understanding in a defence setting
Required Skills & Experience:
- Avionics or Defence Systems engineering
- Proficiency with: DOORS , Statemate , PCMS , ICT Tool .
- Strong understanding of avionics
- Experience working with radar, IFF, or mission computer equipment
Additional Info:
- Must be eligible for security clearance and able to work on-site full time
- Hybrid working may be possible depending on project needs, but full remote is not available
