As a Senior Portfolio Manager in our Real Estate Finance Group, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s growth and success. Your expertise in credit analysis and real estate financing structuring will enable you to make a positive impact on our organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with fellow account managers to oversee complex portfolio aspects, including analyzing files, preparing financing offers, and conducting negotiations
- Negotiating financing terms with the credit department and customers/prospects as needed
- Assisting in implementing, renewing, and reviewing complex files with account managers
- Reviewing expert documents from consultants, lawyers, and other relevant professionals
- Evaluating prerequisites prior to disbursements
- Maintaining the quality of the portfolio
- Identifying risks inherent in the sector’s activities
You will be part of a highly motivated team within the Commercial and Private Banking sector. Our mission is to support major players in the real estate industry through interim construction financing projects and long-term financing of high-quality assets. We are focused on expanding our presence in Western Canada.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or a master’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in real estate financing
- Relevant experience in commercial credit
- Experience in customer service and negotiation
- Experience in business development (an asset)
- Knowledge of products and services for businesses
