Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Pharmacist for a part-time contract opportunity within an outpatient hospital retail pharmacy setting. This role offers a consistent schedule of 2 days per week with the potential to extend.
Position Details:
Setting: Outpatient Hospital Retail Pharmacy
Contract Length: 8–13 weeks
Schedule: 2 days/week (rotating schedule)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pharmacy System: Pioneer RX (experience preferred)
Team: Pharmacy Manager, 1 Pharmacist, and 2 Pharmacy Technicians
Schedule Rotation:
Week 1: Thursday & Friday
Week 2: Friday & Saturday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Fill and verify prescriptions accurately
Perform final checks on technician-prepared medications before release
Enter prescription orders and patient information with accuracy
Maintain pharmacy security standards, including controlled substance compliance
Support daily outpatient pharmacy operations and workflow
Qualifications:
Active Indiana Pharmacist License required
Previous pharmacy experience required
Pioneer RX experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe medication practices
