Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting a vibrant small school setting in beautiful Northern California. This part-time contract role is perfectly suited for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on students’ communication skills. Work closely with a manageable caseload of 25 students, spanning from Transitional Kindergarten through 9th grade, which allows for individualized attention and meaningful progress.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession or eligibility for California licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred, but not required
- Ability to work effectively with TK–9th grade students, tailoring interventions to various developmental stages
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students according to IEP goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
