Speech Language Pathologist in Des Plaines, IL

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language services, particularly with low incidence populations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in elementary-aged students
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Provide direct and consultative SLP services as part of the school’s special education program
• Contribute to IEP meetings and compliance documentation
