Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As an inclusion-focused Special Education Teacher, you’ll play a key role as both advisor and instructor. You’ll lead your own advisory class and provide crucial academic support across four class periods each day, fostering meaningful connections and guiding students through their educational journeys.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Current state licensure/certification for Special Education
  • Previous experience supporting high school students (9th-12th grade) strongly preferred
  • Expertise with IEP development, progress monitoring, and the implementation of accommodations
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
