Make a difference in students’ lives as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, CF, or SLPA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract role welcomes both full-time and part-time availability—tailored to fit your preference. The position is onsite for the full school year, serving students from PreK through 12th grade.
You’ll work directly in a supportive school setting, using your expertise to help students strengthen communication skills and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with a variety of needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy, addressing a broad spectrum of ages and grade levels
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support sessions
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid or eligible Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly valued, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- SLPAs with appropriate credentials are welcome
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills
