Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the entire 2026-2027 academic year. What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for a diverse student population.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to student needs.
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy in both group and individual settings.
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support.
- Document student progress and services accurately, maintaining compliance with all state and district guidelines.
- Participate actively in IEP and student support meetings, sharing your expertise to advocate for student growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLPs; relevant credentials for SLPAs.
- Active or eligible Virginia SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; welcoming applications from Clinical Fellows (CFs).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; ability to foster collaborative relationships in educational settings.
