School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Mentmore, New Mexico

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Experience in a school-based setting or strong desire to work with children and adolescents
• Ability to deliver assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective interventions
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfort with technology, especially for remote and hybrid service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and help identify students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services as scheduled
• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert guidance regarding students’ needs
