Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Work in a dynamic, hybrid environment—on-site at least twice weekly to oversee SLPA supervision, collaborate with campus administrators, and conduct crucial student assessments. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Texas SLP licensure required (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
  • ASHA Certificate with completed clinical hours (if applicable)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly desirable (one bilingual and two monolingual positions available)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Able to supervise SLPAs, oversee evaluations, case management, and facilitate ARD meetings
  • References document required for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to diverse PreK–8th grade caseloads (approx. 100 students, with SLPA support)
  • Oversee SLPA supervision, ensuring compliance with district and licensure policies
  • Manage and update ARD paperwork, write goals, and facilitate ARD meetings using district-provided scripts
  • Complete and coordinate evaluations and re-evaluations for assigned campuses
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with campus administration and staff
