This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist holding ASHA certification (SLP-CCC) and the appropriate South Carolina credentials. With two roles available, you’ll have a chance to make a tangible impact in K-12 environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina SLP License and valid SC Teaching Certificate required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in K-12 school settings
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating within a diverse school community

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students K-12, using evidence-based methods
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Monitor and document progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
