Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact by supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist throughout the 2026-2027 school year! This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity serving a caseload of up to 45 students, located near Bellevue, WA. The position runs from August 26, 2026 through June 16, 2027, providing the chance to collaborate closely with school staff and families in fostering communication success for children at every grade level.
Your expertise will be critical in helping students achieve their academic and social goals through targeted speech and language services in a welcoming, professional environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current and valid WA SLP licensure/certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in a school-based, K-12 setting preferred.
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to starting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work with a diverse caseload (K-12) up to 45 students.
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Attend IEP and team meetings as required.
- Support student progress toward educational objectives in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
