Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity as a school psychologist offers the chance to collaborate closely with educators, families, and staff to help students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically during the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students and interpreting the results to guide instruction and intervention.
  • Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral support plans.
  • Providing consultation and recommendations to school staff regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs.
  • Delivering direct support services such as counseling and crisis intervention to assist students facing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns.
  • Contributing to data-driven decision-making and promoting evidence-based practices across the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Maryland School Psychology License.
  • Experience working in a school setting as a School Psychologist preferred.
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to foster positive, productive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and contributing positively to school culture.

This is a full-time, in-person position starting August 10th, 2026, and concluding June 17th, 2027. You’ll work with a supportive Student Services team focused on student growth and district goals.
