Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027, in partnership with a highly supportive Department of Student Services. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland School Psychology License is required
  • Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret data, and develop effective interventions
  • Committed to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Familiarity with educational law and special education processes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a variety of psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and consultation for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility meetings as part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop, implement, and monitor interventions addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Serve as a resource for educators and families, providing guidance and support
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute actively to IEP/504 planning
  • Foster positive relationships among students, staff, and families to promote student success
