Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is an onsite-only opportunity near vibrant Seattle, WA, where you’ll collaborate closely with education professionals in a supportive contract role. Your expertise will be vital in helping K-12 students (caseload up to 30) achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Washington
• Certification as an OT (required)
• Previous school-based OT experience or a strong desire to work within a K-12 environment
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to full-term contract from August 17, 2026, through June 16, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting IEP goals and developmental milestones
• Evaluate and assess student needs, strengths, and challenges to develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for optimal student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with local and state requirements
• Foster a positive and engaging therapy environment to encourage student participation and growth
• Consult with staff regarding classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
