Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year near Racine, WI. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of elementary students while working in a supportive educational setting.

As a valued member of the student support team, you’ll serve a caseload of 35-45 students, with the majority at the elementary level. Benefit from collaboration with two dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) who will work closely with you as you deliver services that promote student independence and school success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
  • Previous experience providing OT services in school settings strongly preferred
  • Confidence in managing a diverse elementary caseload
  • Skill in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Strong communication abilities to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Experience supervising or collaborating with COTAs is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and 504 plans
  • Assess students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive needs to support participation in classroom activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to facilitate student goals and progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Supervise and support COTAs, providing guidance for best student outcomes
