School Nurse (RN/LPN) – 1:1 Student Assignment

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Assignment: Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

Schedule:

Monday–Friday
Approximately 7:40 AM – 3:45 PM
Bus Riding Required

Student Details:

8-year-old student
School for the Blind
Cerebral Palsy
G-Tube
Nonverbal
Non-Ambulatory
History of focal seizures when startled (infrequent)

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day
Monitor student health and safety during transportation and at school
Manage G-Tube needs and daily medical support
Observe and respond to seizure activity as needed
Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

Active New Jersey RN or LPN License
School nursing, pediatric, or medically fragile experience preferred
Comfortable with G-Tube care and seizure monitoring
