What We’re Looking For:

  • Active New Mexico SLP license
  • Current New Mexico PED certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, especially at the elementary level, is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with staff, students, and parents

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
  • Conducting comprehensive student evaluations and assessments to identify needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating at IEP meetings
  • Documenting student progress and adjusting therapy approaches as necessary
  • Coordinating with staff, district personnel, and families to ensure consistent support and communication
  • Remaining current on best practices and compliance with all state and district regulations
