Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Maryland (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and tailor interventions to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed, timely records and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage in ongoing communication with all stakeholders
- Serve as a resource for school staff on communication and language development
