Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact supporting middle and high school students through speech-language services in an engaging educational environment! We have openings for both an SLP-CCC and an SLP-CF to join a dedicated team on a full-time contract basis, working from July 27, 2026, through May 28, 2027. This rewarding role involves partnering with one school site, close to Douglasville, GA, serving a dynamic caseload of 45 to 55 students. Specific assignment details and caseload sizes may shift as positions are finalized.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GA PSC) credential (required with new guidelines).
- Current state licensure for Speech Language Pathology.
- For SLP-CCC: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- For SLP-CF: Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); supervision provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for serving students in middle and high school.
- Ability to adapt to evolving caseload assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success.
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support teams.
