Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings or with low-incidence populations is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans for students in K-5th grade
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student goals
  • Provide consultative and direct therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
