Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
RPh on the Go is seeking a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, well-supported pharmacy team in a high-volume retail setting with strong technician support and a collaborative work environment.
Schedule
- Pharmacy hours:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Work four weekdays per week
- Saturday coverage required approximately 1–2 times per month
Pharmacy Overview
- Retail pharmacy setting
- Approximately 3,000 prescriptions filled weekly
- Pharmacy system: PioneerRx
Job requirements
- Verify prescriptions and ensure dispensing accuracy
- Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and technician activities
- Process and manage prescriptions using PioneerRx
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Support daily pharmacy operations in a high-volume environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and staff
- Assist with scheduled Saturday coverage
Requirements
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standings
- PioneerRx experience preferred
- Flexibility to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
