Experience Requirements:
For this position, you will need a minimum of 2 years of verifiable sales experience. General retail roles that do not involve commission-based selling or performance targets are not considered qualifying sales experience. This is because they do not provide the necessary skills and expertise to succeed in this fast-paced environment.
Formal training in a recognized sales methodology, such as MEDDICC, SPIN Selling, or Challenger Sales, is highly valued but not mandatory.
While telecommunications experience is preferred, it is not required for this position.
Work-Related Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess strong verbal communication and active listening skills, allowing you to effectively engage with clients and build lasting relationships.
Proficiency in navigating multiple CRM and business systems simultaneously is also essential.
You will be expected to apply proven sales and retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
B2B telecommunications sales experience is highly desirable.
A strong sense of organizational and time management skills is crucial to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
The ability to manage a structured sales process in a fast-paced environment is vital for success in this role.
Other Requirements:
This position requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, scheduled between Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST.
Additional hours may be worked at your discretion, which can significantly increase your commission earnings.
It is essential that you live in one of the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help existing small-medium business customers upgrade and optimize their wireless phone services.
You will engage clients through inbound and outbound calls, consult on their current packages, and uncover opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services that drive more value.
As an Outbound Business Sales Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction.
