Registered Nurse School Setting – Cambridge, MA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license required
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a similar pediatric/education-focused nursing role preferred
• Familiarity with suctioning procedures, with willingness to perform as needed during transportation
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a school and transportation setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for a 20-year-old student attending school in Concord
• Accompany and monitor the student during daily transportation to and from school, ensuring comfort and safety
• Perform suctioning as needed, adhering to established health care plans and protocols
• Collaborate closely with school staff and student’s family to ensure seamless continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of health-related services delivered
