Production Operator

The Production Operator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including operating various machinery and equipment, on varying shifts as required. These positions frequently demand considerable manual exertion.

Production Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate bagging or packaging equipment to maintain desired output and operating standards.
• Fill, palletize, and haul product to assigned storage.
• Perform adjustments and minor repairs to maintain production activities.
• Responsible for following production schedules and accurately reporting operational records.
• Assist in assuring the line is supplied with desired salt grades.

Production Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Ability to operate a powered industrial vehicle.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work any shift and any schedule.
• Comfortable working consistent overtime and weekends as needed.
• Constant lifting up to 65 lbs., rapid work speed, standing, and grasping.
• Frequent bending, carrying and pulling up to 65 lbs., twisting, reaching, feeling, and finger movement.
• Frequent high acuity hearing and depth perception.
• Constant noise 80dB and over.
• Frequent vibration, dryness, dust, and mechanical hazards.
• Eye protection, hearing protection, head covering, and foot protection are required.
