Job Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Printing Press Operator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flexographic printing, with experience working with 8 colors, polyethylene, and solvent-based ink.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment
- Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation
- Monitors production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas met
- Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Printing Press Operator
- Experience working with 8 colors, polyethylene, and solvent-based ink
- Familiarity with flexographic printing, gearless presses, and fully automatic (computerized) presses
