Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to work in a vibrant district near Wood River Junction, RI, from July 7th through August 7th. This is a full-time role with a diverse caseload, offering the chance to contribute to individual student success during the summer program.

Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Active Rhode Island Speech Language Pathology license required
- CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings beneficial
- Familiarity with therapy planning, documentation, and progress monitoring in educational environments
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across K-12 efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within the summer program
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt techniques to meet varying student needs and learning styles
