Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment highly preferred
  • Comfortable managing a dynamic elementary caseload
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills for IEPs and student progress
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities for working with teachers, parents, and students
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy services to elementary students requiring support with speech, language, or communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators and families to foster student success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team decision-making, and provide expert consultation for staff and families
