Principal Responsibilities

Essential Duties These duties directly and substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position.

· Responsible for producing fried chips within the specified quality requirements and complying with all product parameters

· Operate all conveying and packaging system

· Startup equipment, set computer panel, set code dater and product code.

· Verify amounts and product code of each pallet produced and prepare ICS tag.

· Prepare and complete ICS tag log and verify reported totals on all products prepared during the shift.

· Prepare, complete and have packaging material ready for casers working on the line.

· Immediately notify Lead and/or Production Supervisor of stock shortages (bags, boxes, trays, etc.)

· Responsible for notify Maintenance in a timely manner of any mechanical issues.

· Be prepared to make product changes as needed. Supervisor or Lead will inform operator of changes

· Reprocess none-conformance product acceptable for reprocess.

· Repair/replace film

· Check functionality of metal detector and check weightier and adjust them if needed.

· Verify packets are sealed properly.

· Monitor film and perform changeovers when necessary

· End of production disconnect machinery

· Follow production schedule and indicated by Lead or Supervisor

· Support the supervisor in the daily production reports/forms.

· Input information in SAP.

· Perform any position in the department whenever it is necessary.

· Maintain area, keep clean and organized.

· Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Ability to read and write

· Good math skills

· Be able to communicate effectively

· Able to work under low supervision

· Basic Computer knowledge

· Training Skills

· Able to read charts, work instructions and procedures

· Able to lift 50-100 LBS

· Able to work various shifts/hours holidays and weekends

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
