Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An established district near Renton, WA, is seeking two dedicated Occupational Therapists to work onsite with a diverse K–12 student caseload of up to 30 students. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the unique opportunity to support students’ growth and success across all grade levels.

Ideal candidates are passionate about school-based occupational therapy, skilled in fostering student development, and confident working collaboratively with educators and families. You’ll play a key part in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment while delivering specialized interventions and support.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license and certification
  • Fingerprinting clearance through OSPI required prior to start
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting highly desirable
  • Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
  • Ability to effectively manage a K–12 caseload and prioritize individualized interventions
  • Commitment to upholding professional standards and supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services onsite in a school setting
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapeutic strategies tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student participation and performance
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and required reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
