Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
• At least one year of prior experience working with school-aged students
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and goal tracking in an educational setting
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement interventions effectively
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments and document progress, making recommendations for intervention
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate and train school staff and family members on supportive strategies and equipment
• Maintain organized records and comply with all relevant policies and procedures
