Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in the educational setting by providing specialized support as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers meaningful work with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. Bring your passion and expertise to a collaborative team while working with children who present a range of abilities, from mild to severe disabilities. Your interventions will contribute directly to student independence and success in the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Occupational Therapist license/certification in Washington State
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Comfortable working with children and adolescents with a variety of physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling efficiently
  • Adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student and school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student needs and establish individualized therapy goals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to enhance student participation in academic and daily living activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy into educational programming
  • Provide direct interventions, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed
  • Educate families and staff in strategies to support student growth and maximize independence
  • Complete timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families and school team members
