Long-Term Care Pharmacist – Chicora, PA
Job Type: Contract (1 Month) | Extension Potential
Location: Chicora, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
A long-term care pharmacy is seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacist for a 1-month contract assignment with the potential to extend. Join a collaborative team supporting skilled nursing facilities and hospice patients in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders
Check blister-packed, sterile, and non-sterile medications
Provide clinical support to nurses, physicians, and facility staff
Perform controlled substance counts and maintain inventory
Inspect emergency medication boxes and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
At least 1 year of pharmacist experience
Long-term care experience preferred
Experience with QS1, Docutrack, or PCC is a plus
