Become a vital part of our healthcare partner’s energetic team and positively impact families’ lives. In the role of a Labor & Delivery nurse, your primary focus will be to deliver outstanding care to mothers and their infants within a nurturing and cooperative atmosphere.

• Deliver comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rates
• Administer medications and infusions such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin
• Work alongside the healthcare team to create and execute personalized care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families during the birthing experience
• Be prepared to float across various campuses as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
• Experience in Postpartum, Mother-Baby, and Labor & Delivery care
• Experience with both C-section and vaginal deliveries, including triage
• Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification
• Current Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification
• AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last 12 months
