Diesel Mechanic – Mobile Service Truck (Heavy Duty / Semi Trucks)

KJE Services is hiring an experienced diesel mechanic to operate our mobile service truck servicing:
– Semi trucks
– RGN Trailers
– Landoll Trailers
– Customer equipment
– Field breakdowns
– Preventative maintenance

This is not a “parts changer” position. We’re looking for someone who can diagnose problems, work independently, and represent the company professionally in the field.

Responsibilities
– Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers
– PM services and inspections
– Brake, suspension, electrical, air system, and hydraulic repairs
– DOT repairs
– Roadside service calls
– Troubleshoot drivability and engine issues
– Maintain service records and communicate repair status
– Operate mobile mechanic truck safely and professionally
– Update Maintenance Tracking Software
– Source Parts

Preferred Experience
– Heavy duty diesel mechanic experience
– Cummins / Paccar / Detroit / Mack experience preferred
– Electrical diagnostics
– Air brake systems
– Trailer repair
– Hydraulic systems
– CDL preferred but not required
– Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
