We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team. A Maintenance Millwright is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment by performing routine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
- Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations
In this role, you will work independently and as part of a team to maintain and repair equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and operate motorized vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for following all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent mechanical skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
