TITLE: Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney
Job Summary:
Boutique law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in commercial litigation. This role offers a mix of dispute resolution, client counseling, and contract/transactional work for early-stage and mid-market companies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial litigation matters (state & federal courts)
- Handle mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
- Advise clients on corporate, employment, and compliance matters
- Draft/review contracts and corporate documents
- Support M&A, financing, and business transactions
- Conduct legal research and due diligence
Qualifications:
- JD + active bar in NJ, NY, or PA (NJ preferred)
- 4+ years commercial litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred:
- Franchise, employment, or business disputes
- Breach of contract, shareholder disputes
- M&A or transactional experience
