Administrative Manager Job Description
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
As an Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch, including managing financial transactions, providing administrative support, and overseeing HR management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day branch operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide first line of contact for client-related, operational and logistical matters.
- Oversee HR management of 20+ associates, including performance evaluations and recruitment.
- Disseminate administrative procedures and policies to ensure branch employees understand and comply with them.
- Rigorous follow-ups as recommended by Internal Audit and Compliance
- Maintain premises and quality work environment, monitor branch activity related budgets.
- Demonstrate leadership that encourages positive morale and culture within the branch.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- College or technical diploma and 3 years of experience OR bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Administrative support experience.
- Experience in the investment industry, an asset.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, an asset.
- Very good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
