We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Civil Litigator to join a busy legal insurance team in Manchester. You’ll work on a varied caseload, from breach of contract and property disputes to professional negligence and construction matters, handling both claimant and defendant work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising on prospects across a wide range of civil disputes
- Managing your own caseload under supervision
- Delivering clear, pragmatic legal advice with a focus on client outcomes
- Working on cases funded by legal expenses insurance and some private work
What we’re looking for:
- 0–3 years’ PQE with commercial litigation experience
- Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Insurance-related experience (desirable)
- Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
