Capital Markets Associate – 2–5 PQE

London (Hybrid) | Debt Offerings, Cross-Border Transactions

An elite international firm is looking to hire a Capital Markets Associate to join its high-performing London team. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the centre of some of the most complex and high-value cross-border debt and structured finance transactions globally.

The role would suit a technically strong, commercially-minded associate with solid capital markets experience who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advising on cross-border debt and equity capital markets transactions, from investment-grade bond issuances to hybrid instruments.
  • Supporting liability management exercises including tender offers, buy-backs, and consent solicitations.
  • Working closely with clients, counsel, and deal teams across the UK, Europe, and emerging markets.
  • Drafting and reviewing core documentation: prospectuses, terms & conditions, facility agreements, disclosure, and securities filings.
  • Gaining exposure to regulatory capital products , distressed financing structures, and securities law compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–5 years PQE , with relevant capital markets or finance experience gained at a leading UK, US, or international firm.
  • England & Wales qualified (or on track); NY qualification welcome but not essential.
  • Confident in handling transaction management, disclosure, and client communication across borders.
  • Strong drafting skills and a genuine interest in DCM, liability management, and regulatory trends in the capital markets space.
  • A proactive mindset – comfortable owning workstreams and contributing to the growth of a lean but highly active team.

Why Join?

  • Be part of a team recognised for executing innovative and high-profile deals across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Work directly with approachable, hands-on partners who are known for empowering junior lawyers.
  • Exposure to both UK and US-style capital markets transactions and bespoke regulatory matters.
  • An ambitious yet supportive culture, with room for growth, internal mobility, and international secondments.
  • Modern, hybrid working arrangements and a collegiate office environment located in the heart of legal London.

If you’re looking to deepen your capital markets expertise within a close-knit, top-tier team handling standout international deals, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply with a CV and short summary of your recent deal experience.
