Software Project Manager – Financial Software | Agile | London – Miller Maxwell is partnering with an expanding international Financial Software Vendor, with growth across Asia and the US. As part of their 2025–2026 expansion strategy, they’re seeking a Software Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical software engineering projects. Software Project Management position overview:
As a Software Project Manager, you’ll drive Agile delivery of complex, client-facing software solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure projects meet client expectations, industry standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full software project lifecycles – planning, execution, deployment, and post-delivery support
- Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, designers, and stakeholders
- Define scope, timelines, and deliverables while managing risks and dependencies
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure delivery of high-quality financial software solutions
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience managing software development projects
- Proven experience delivering financial software solutions
- Strong Agile methodology knowledge and experience with project management tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
