I am currently seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal, Legal Executive, or Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm at their busy and growing Cannock office. This is an exciting opportunity for a Private Client professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join a dynamic and well-established team. The department is extremely busy, with a strong pipeline of work, and is now expanding to meet client demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client meetings to take instructions on Wills, LPAs, Estate Planning, Probate, and Trusts
  • Prepare detailed attendance notes, follow-up actions, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide clear legal advice in both verbal and written formats
  • Draft Wills, including simple and Trust Wills, and provide comprehensive supporting advice
  • Produce legal documentation in line with client needs and the firm’s standards
  • Handle a busy caseload of approximately 80 active files, managing matters independently where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively on more complex matters with supervision and team support

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Private Client law
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision on standard matters
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • STEP qualification or working towards (desirable but not essential)
