Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload deliveries of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues.
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
  • Accurately receive inventory into the warehouse management system using handheld RF scan guns.
  • Stock shelves and organize HVAC products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Pick, label, and stage customer orders for delivery or customer pickup.
  • Verify the accuracy of items and quantities in each order before shipment.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Assist in loading delivery trucks in an organized and secure manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience receiving inbound materials in a warehouse or distribution environment is strongly preferred. This includes verifying purchase orders and packing slips, inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies, accurately receiving inventory into a warehouse management system, and organizing products for storage.
  • Minimum of two years of warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Experience using handheld RF scan guns and warehouse management systems required.
  • Previous supervisory, lead, or warehouse management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with HVAC products, building materials, steel, industrial distribution, or similar products is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of receiving processes, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds or more on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
