Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a speech-language pathologist seeking to support high school students in a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs from August 18, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. The role involves working onsite near Twin Lake, MI, with a commitment of 30 to 35 hours per week. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, and an onsite facilitator will be available for support.

Applicants with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

  • Active or pending SLP license, or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with adolescent populations is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Genuine commitment to helping high school students achieve speech and language milestones

Key responsibilities and daily duties include:

  • Delivering assessment, intervention, and therapy services to a high school caseload
  • Collaborating with educators, staff, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Providing support and strategies tailored to each student’s unique communication needs
  • Participating in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
