Pharmacist Opportunity in a Rehab Hospital Setting – Boston Area
This contract position offers a rewarding role in a rehabilitation hospital environment located near Boston, MA. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will last 13 weeks or longer, providing a solid opportunity for those seeking experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Location:
- Brockton, MA – near Boston
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in a rehab hospital setting
- Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems for medication management and patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care for patients
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Provide counseling to patients as needed for medication use
Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts, including retail and new graduates encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in hospital pharmacy preferred
- Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems is a strong advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
