Job Description
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from Early Education through 7th grade with teletherapy and on-site occupational therapy services. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting, with a manageable caseload and flexible schedule. You’ll work 1-2 days a week (5-6 hours per week) during the school year, offering your expertise to help 10 students achieve success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas OT license (required)
- Experience providing occupational therapy in schools and/or via teletherapy
- Proficiency with digital documentation systems (experience with Frontline is a plus)
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Comfort with completing evaluations, progress updates, and participating in ARD meetings
Role Highlights:
- Begin August 11, 2026; complete the school year by May 21, 2027
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and direct/virtual services
- Monitor and document student progress using the Frontline system
- Attend ARD meetings as needed, contributing valuable insights to student plans
- Ensure clear communication and effective collaboration with educators, staff, and families
