Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns, maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Circulate during C-sections and provide assistance with antepartum care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including lactation consultants and maternity educators.
- Utilize proficient IV skills and operate the OBIX Fetal Heart Monitoring System.
- Float to NICU for feeders and growers as necessary.
- Engage in floor-specific orientation and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are mandatory; FHM certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
- Strong skills in C-sections and IV administration are essential.
- Willingness to work every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday.
