School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Upper Marlboro, Maryland

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active SLP license for the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Strong assessment, therapy planning, and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized student support
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Provide direct therapy services in group and/or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Maintain accurate records, session notes, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
